It is a journey to build a successful life, one filled with ups and downs, and plenty of mediocre advice along the way. Small Biz Big Dreams endeavors to provide you with meaningful, actionable information.

About Chris Parsons:

I am the author of this blog. After graduating from college with a Bachelors degree in Finance in 2007, I started working as an Internal Auditor for a Fortune 1,000 company with a dream of something more.

I started this blog in June of 2010 while still working at my job and without being an Entrepreneur yet – or even having any real practical business ideas. Since then, I have helped my wife launch a business and bought an online dropship business. Hopefully there’s a lot more still to come… I promise to keep you all updated on the successes and failures of this journey, and hope that you will share yours as well.

Why I started Small Biz Big Dreams

I started this blog because I want to make a difference in the world. I hope that my experiences (and perhaps wisdom) can be of help to others – as the wisdom and experiences of others have been so helpful to me. I’m very opinionated, highly logical, and not afraid to put myself out there. I say what is on my mind, whether people like it or not, but I’m always willing to admit when I’m wrong.

What Small Biz Big Dreams is not

Small Biz Big Dreams is not just another Personal Finance or Entrepreneurship blog. The focus is not frugality, nor is it exclusively online business. I don’t post on a regular schedule and I try not to post “magazine quality” articles (light reading of pre-packaged filler you could find 100 other places) which serve little purpose and provide you the readers with no benefit.

Who Small Biz Big Dreams is for

This blog is for real Entrepreneurs and real businesses, whether you aspire to be or are already there. I dedicate this blog to Entrepreneurs like me who have a dream of something bigger than a just a “small business”.
